What Rivalry is
Every group has one. Who's up. Who still owes who from the trip two years ago. Whether Dave has ever actually beaten you at Fossil Trace, or just says he has.
Rivalry keeps the answer. Rounds, standings, records, head-to-heads, and a tab that knows exactly who owes what. You record the round. Everything else builds itself.
It isn't a shot tracker
No rangefinder. No swing analysis. No strokes-gained dashboard telling you your approach play is in the 41st percentile.
Plenty of apps do that, and some do it well. What none of them do is remember that Mike went four down with three to play at Green Valley in 2021 and has brought it up at every tee box since. That's the part your group actually talks about, and it's the part nobody was keeping.
Everything is worked out, not typed in
Standings, trophies, course ownership, season champions, the rivalry records: none of it is stored. It's all calculated from the rounds, every time you look at it.
Sounds like a technicality. It isn't. Fix a score from three months ago and the standings fix themselves, the head-to-head fixes itself, the season table fixes itself. Nothing to rebuild. Nothing quietly left wrong in a corner.
Nobody's money goes through us
Rivalry doesn't process payments. There's no wallet, no card on file, no cut. The tab is a ledger of what you agreed among yourselves, and you settle it the way you already do. Venmo, cash on the 18th, buying the beers. The app just knows it happened.
